It can be a challenge to get out of the house with the boys and the dogs. My favorite baby present is our Bob Revolution Duallie, it is the best jogging stroller ever. If you have two kids and like to go on walks this is the best thing since sliced bread.
My normal routine which seems like a lot now that I have written it out, but it is not too bad. I just have to start at least half hour before I go as I like to feed and change the babies before hand. To go for a walk includes:
Retrieving stroller from garage, bundle babies up, put in stroller with blanket and pacifiers, get dogs on leash, get water, phone, and sunglasses, replace pacifiers as they have fallen out of mouth, go to the bathroom and hurry out the door before it is time for a feed or diaper change.
Adventures in the Bob have included the bike trails, Walmart, the grocery store, and the frozen yogurt shop. I think I might walk a little too much when I run into people at different things and they say they saw me out with my boys and dogs. It is fun and the boys normally sleep during the walk, a great way to have some quiet time while battling the dogs for which side of the stroller they are going to walk on or telling them to move out the way or they will get run over...
My favorite place to walk is an almost 5 mile loop that goes on the trail and through neighborhoods. It takes me about an hour and 20 min to complete it when I have the dogs. One warning about the Bob and thorns is to be prepared to replace the tubes a lot because of flats. I can't tell you how many times I visited the local bike shop to have the tube replaced.
